MagsExpress is a custom distribution and alternate delivery solution that harnesses the reach of adult newspaper and TMC carriers.

Conceptualized by Michael Presto, a long-time innovator and publishing executive, MagsExpress is out-of-the-mailbox thinking that gives publishers, catalog retailers, advertisers, printers and mailers a better way to make time-sensitive deliveries without contending with the vagaries of the US Postal Service or the high cost of overnight delivery companies or messengers.

In 2003, we combined forces with MitchellsNY (a sister company that’s been making home deliveries for 70 years). Today we deliver more than 100 million pieces annually in Manhattan. We have 1,000 bonded and tenured carriers on the street daily, making home- and office-deliveries of newspapers, magazines, catalogs, directories, advertisements, packages and other dimensionals.

Custom distribution & alternate delivery services

Publishers, retailers and advertisers with periodicals, catalogs and merchandise to deliver rely on us because, as an alternative to the USPS, we provide next-day, rush and scheduled deliveries 365 days a year. But that’s not all, we provide additional services like retail and VIP and media copy deliveries, brand ambassadors, hand-to-hand sampling, trucking, warehousing and even pick-n-pack.  Our clients love us because we customize to suit their needs, schedules and budgets.

Subscriber copies

Periodical publishers, save money and control the timing of in-home delivery with MagsExpress. Our penetration of Manhattan’s residential addresses is nearly 100% and we deliver daily, 365 days a year. Subscriber copies get doorstep delivery and our Customer Care department will happily handle vacation stops, changes of address or other requests from your subscribers and we'll keep your fulfillment service bureau in the loop:  we're already working with CDS Global, Palm Coast Data and Time Circulation Systems.

Retail deliveries, VIP copies and more

Periodical publishers, you may also benefit from deliveries we make to area retailers. For example, we service Hudson News outlets inside commuter terminals and we do so faster than, and on behalf of, national distributors. We service all of New York's rail, bus and air terminals plus retailers located in or near NYC Subway stations.  We also make VIP and media deliveries to editors, publishers, media buyers and other key influencers on publishers' behalf.

Catalogs and merchandise deliveries

Catalog and e-commerce retailers, we can play an invaluable role in your multi-channel marketing efforts. With MagsExpress, you may time delivery precisely to coincide with other channel marketing. There's been a lot of talk recently about last-mile and same or next-day delivery. We’ve been making next-day deliveries for more than 70 years. Plus, we distribute a wide assortment of materials, from periodicals and print advertisements to small packages and product samples. Our specialty is creating custom solutions that suit you.
